Khanbogd Cashmere CEO Attends the Grand Ceremony for the 100th Anniversary of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry

The official celebration marking the 100th anniversary of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry (MoFALI) was held at the Cultural Palace. Among the distinguished guests was Ms. Ch. Gantsetseg, CEO of Khanbogd Cashmere LLC, representing Mongolian manufacturers and exporters.

The commemorative event was officially opened by President of Mongolia U. Khurelsukh, who extended heartfelt congratulations to the veteran professionals who dedicated their lives and knowledge to the sectors of food, agriculture, and light industry, as well as to today’s workers, civil servants, herders, farmers, and wealth creators who are leading the industry forward.

In his opening speech, the President emphasized that Mongolia, a country with a rich history deeply rooted in animal husbandry, must now transition into a value-adding, export-oriented nation that processes its raw materials—particularly livestock-based resources—into finished products for both domestic and international markets.
