President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa visits Khanbogd Cashmere LLC
President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa paid a follow-up visit to national manufacturer Khanbogd Cashmere LLC, where he reviewed the progress and results of the company’s construction, production modernization, and expansion projects implemented over the past three years since his previous visit in 2023.
During this period, Khanbogd Cashmere LLC has expanded its production capacity and made significant investments in technological modernization and sustainable development through a series of phased initiatives. In particular, the company has introduced Japan’s advanced SHIMA SEIKI WholeGarment® seamless knitting technology, further strengthening its capacity to produce high-quality, value-added products that are competitive in international markets.
The President also reviewed the company’s efforts to gradually integrate renewable energy into its operations as part of its commitment to sustainable production, while adopting environmentally responsible manufacturing practices.
During the visit, it was highlighted that policies supporting domestic manufacturers and preferential financing implemented under the “White Gold” National Movement, initiated by President Khurelsukh, are making a tangible contribution to the development of value-added production in Mongolia’s cashmere sector. Investments in modernization and expansion projects supported by these policies are helping improve production efficiency while enhancing the range, quality, and competitiveness of Mongolia’s cashmere exports.
President Khurelsukh received a detailed presentation on the company’s ongoing construction and technological modernization projects. He expressed his appreciation to the company’s management and employees and extended his best wishes for continued success in their future endeavors.
